  1. What are the activities allowed at the logistics park?
    All legitimate logistics except banking activities are allowed subject to compliance with Health and Environmental Standards.
  2. Are all types of manufacturing allowed?
    All types of logistics activities are allowed at the logistics park as long as they do not pose any hazard to the environment. Situated in close proximity to residential areas, all activities within its boundaries must be environmentally friendly.
  3. Can a company at the logistics park have a General Trading license?
    No. Trading licenses need to be specific.
  4. How can a company at the logistics park clear goods if they need to be re-exported?
    There will be simple and efficient procedures for importing and exporting of goods to and from the logistics park.
  5. Can a company obtain a license at the logistics park without having a leased facility?
    No. A company will have to have a leased facility as part of obtaining a license.
  6. What is the procedure for transporting goods after arriving at the facility?
    We are working closely with Abu Dhabi Ports Company (ADPC) to ensure that the most efficient processes and procedures are in place.
  7. Are there restrictions on nationalities with respect to visas to Abu Dhabi?
    There are no specific restrictions, but the issuing of visas remains subject to approval of the UAE Government.
  8. How long will it take to register a company at the logistics park?
    Registration will take two working days after submitting all documents and settling payment.
  9. What is the method of payment for reserving the logistics park facilities?
    Payment for leasing or renting facilities at the logistics park is to be made in advance.
  10. Can we use the offices for storage of goods?
    Using the offices as storage is prohibited for security and safety reasons.
  11. Can a company have more than one facility?
    Yes. Companies will be able to acquire office, land or light industry units, subject to availability.
  12. What other costs are to be paid with the rent?
    Electricity, water and cleaning services will be charged based on actual usage and payable to the local utilities provider - Abu Dhabi Water & Electricity Authroity (ADWEA).
Temporary registration fee AED 1000 for all type of companies and licensing fee for the activity varies depends upon the activity.
